On June 2, 2026, at Agribank’s Head Office in Hanoi, Mr. Doan Ngoc Luu, Deputy General Director of Agribank, chaired a working session with Mr. Roger Schär, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB), one of Switzerland’s leading banks.

At the meeting, Agribank representatives provided an overview of the Bank’s business operations and performance, operating network, development orientation, and key achievements over the past period. The two sides also discussed their current cooperation and opportunities to further expand collaboration in the period ahead.

Mr. Roger Schär highly appreciated Agribank’s position, scale of operations, and role in Vietnam’s banking system. Representatives of the two banks exchanged views on cooperation opportunities in correspondent banking, international payments, foreign exchange trading, and money markets. They also discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation in international payment services, including full-amount remittance, multi-currency remittance, and cross-border payment solutions.

In addition, the two sides shared experience in developing institutional customers, including credit institutions and financial institutions; risk management; and the development of modern banking products and services to meet customers’ increasingly diverse needs amid deeper international financial integration.

The meeting took place in an open, cooperative, and effective atmosphere. Agribank and ZKB agreed to continue maintaining regular exchanges and exploring new bilateral cooperation opportunities based on each side’s strengths, contributing to enhancing cooperation effectiveness and strengthening connections with international financial institution networks.
