21/07/2025
Agribank has played and continues to play a crucial role in promoting the development of the private sector, making it a key driver of the national economy. With the mission of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the private sector, Agribank has implemented various preferential credit programs, flexible financial services, and other financial support solutions.
Currently, approximately 80% of Agribank's total outstanding loan amount has been allocated to the private sector, equivalent to nearly VND 1.4 quadrillion. Of this, the outstanding loan amount to private enterprises with a scale of over VND 400 trillion account for about 90% of the total corporate loans, with a remarkable growth rate of over 25% over the past five years.
In 2024, Agribank launched 20 preferential credit programs and an additional 9 programs in 2025, focusing on sectors such as import-export, manufacturing, and supporting household businesses.
Notably, the preferential credit program for small and medium-sized enterprises in 2024 was expanded to a scale of up to VND 70 trillion, enabling businesses to access capital at lower interest rates compared to the usual lending floor rate, with a discount of up to 1.5% per annum.
Furthermore, Agribank has also implemented flexible credit programs for private household businesses, with preferential interest rates ranging from 1-2% below the normal lending rate.
Agribank is committed to continuing and expanding its preferential credit programs, providing strong support for the private sector in the areas of import-export, consumer production, and key industries. Agribank’s objective is not only to provide capital for businesses but also to accompany them in sustainable development, international integration, and contributing to the creation of a strong economy.
With these commitments, Agribank affirms its position as a strategic partner of the private sector, contributing to the robust development of the national economy in the new phase.
